Jetzt sind wir auf dem Weg nach Tonga, vielleicht mit Zwischenstopp in Niue. Das ist die Insel mit den Roten Bananen. Wer noch nie etwas von der Roten Banana geh\u00f6rt hat, hier eine kurz Info: Als Cook in Niue anlandete, st\u00fcrmten ein paar menschenfressende Einheimische aus dem Wald, mit vor Blut tropfenden Z\u00e4hnen. So dachte zumindest der gro\u00dfe Entdecker und verlie\u00df fluchtartig die Insel. In Wahrheit hatten diese einfach davor die dort beheimatete Rote Banane gegessen, so vermuten die Historiker heute.<\/p>\n

Die Fahrt nach Tonga dauert ungef\u00e4hr 10 Tage, wir segeln vor dem Wind, mit Schmetterlinsstellung der Segel und 5-9 kn Wind aus E-SE. Insgesamt machen wir 4-5 ktn \u00fcber Grund. Gestern haben wir einen Wahoo gefangen, er brachte 5 kg auf die Wage und war 1,10 m lang. Heute mittag haben wir einen Teil dann zu Fischspie\u00dfen mit, von mir selbst gemachten Ciabatta und Schinken verarbeitet. Eigentlich wollte ich ja auch noch Wassereis oder Yoghurteis machen, hier war es in den letzten Tagen sehr hei\u00df, aber da der Autopilot so viel Strom verbraucht, dass der K\u00fchlschrank nicht friert, ist dieses Unterfangen zwecklos. \ud83d\ude41<\/p>\n

Ansonsten wird gelesen, gelesen und Wache geschoben. Ach ja ich hab in unserer Bibliothek die Asterix-Comics entdeckt, Teil 1-34 und Zusatzteile wie „Als Obelix in den Kessel fiel“. \ud83d\ude42 Nur leider alle auf Englisch \ud83d\ude41 ich lese sie trotzdem.<\/p>\n

For the way to Tonga we need approximately 10 days, we are sailing before the wind, with butterfly sails and 5-9 kn wind from E-SE. We make 4-5 kn over ground. Yesterday we fished a Wahoo, he was 5 kg and had a size of 1,10 m. Today at lunch, I made fish sticks with self baked Ciabatta and smoked ham with some of the Wahoo. I also wanted to make ice pop or yoghurt ice cream, in the last days it was really hot here, but the autopilot needs so much energy that the refrigerator can not freeze, so, making ice cream is not possible. \ud83d\ude41 Apart from that, we are reading, reading and have our watches.
